Services for Neurodivergence
Therapy that adapts to your nervous system — not the other way around.
This space is for adults who live with autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent profiles — especially if traditional therapy hasn’t helped, or has made things harder.
This may be right for you if:
-
You think, feel, or respond to the world in ways that don’t always match what’s expected, even when you’re trying hard to “do it right”.
-
You spend a lot of energy masking, managing, or holding yourself together — and feel exhausted, flat, or burnt out afterward.
-
You shut down, withdraw, or become overwhelmed under pressure, or occasionally escalate when things feel too much.
-
You’ve been misunderstood in therapy before, or felt that previous support didn’t quite fit how your nervous system actually works.
-
You find it hard to explain what’s happening for you in the moment, especially when emotions or sensory input are high.
-
You want support that is practical and nervous-system aware, not vague, confrontational, or focused on pushing you past your limits.
-
You’re looking for therapy that adapts to you — with structure, clarity, and respect — rather than expecting you to adapt to the therapy.
What therapy looks like here

-
Sessions are structured and predictable, so you know what to expect and don’t have to spend energy guessing where things are going. We work collaboratively, with clear boundaries and shared understanding about what we’re focusing on.
-
Our work prioritises safety, emotional regulation, and clarity before deeper insight. When your nervous system feels steadier, thinking and understanding come more easily — and change is more sustainable.
-
You don’t need to perform emotions, tell your story perfectly, or find the “right words” in the moment. We slow things down and work with what’s actually accessible to you.
-
Sessions move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate. We pay attention to overload, shutdown, and escalation, and adjust as needed so therapy remains useful rather than overwhelming.

Therapy should make sense while you’re in it — not just afterwards.
What we focus on
-
We work on emotional regulation in ways that respect how your nervous system actually responds, including understanding shutdown, overwhelm, and periods where words or access disappear.
-
We address sensory overload and recovery, helping you recognise early signs of overload and develop ways to recover that don’t rely on pushing through or masking.
-
We focus on communication under stress, including what happens when processing slows, emotions rise, or you lose access to language. This includes finding ways to communicate needs and limits that are realistic in the moment.
-
We spend time on identity, burnout, and boundaries, especially where long-term masking, chronic stress, or repeated misunderstanding have taken a toll.
-
We also focus on living well in a world that was not built with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind, including finding practical adjustments, supports, and expectations that allow you to function without constant self-exhaustion.
